Aleesha Young established herself as the top female professional bodybuilder in the final quarter of the 2010s. Aleesha was born into an extended family of athletes. The father and her siblings played ice-hockey, but her dad was a bodybuilder. Aleesha played soccer, softball as well as basketball until she started bodybuilding when she was fifteen. Aleesha obtained her professional license in 2014 after she won her first NPC USA Championships. But she started competing in 2008. In 2014 she also competed in the IFBB Wings of Strength PBW Tampa Pro and was placed 9th. Her final score for 2015 was 9th. Aleesha placed 6th in both 2016 and 2015 in the IFBB Wings Of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships. Aleesha is steadily improving and in 2019 she took the first professional title, the Chicago Pro Championships. The best WOS result was achieved in the year 2020. She finished in fourth place. The "World's strongest mother" did take a hiatus in bodybuilding because of issues with her health.
